It does seem odd.like another forum member I am getting 2 addresses reported for the 24C256 eeprom 0x50 and 0x58 with A0,A1 and A2 all grounded on the 24C256.
Perhaps there's a bug or flaw in the scanning code or some sluggishness and prolonged slew on the bus ?
Does it do this when it's the only device on the bus or only when the other device is connected ?
What address does the other device appear as, by itself and with both connected ? And what is that device ?
