So maybe you then know there is no easy way, but there have been several people who did in-place upgrade from Bullseye to Bookworm, see debian how that works. It is essentially changing bullseye to bookworm in sources list.I have not been asleep over the last two years, I know all this.
I've just been getting a lot older and thought after TWO YEARS maybe and having kit that really does need up dating, thought to ask if it can be done yet without having to faff about for the umpteenth time.
The nasty thing is that kernel and firmware packages have changed so I have seen more than a handful of people who had Bookworm but old 6.1.21 kernel. It works, actually Debian Bookworm is 6.1.x LTS kernel. But can be fixed, I have done it for about 10 RPis 2 years ago, so it becomes easy and a lot faster than re-doing all my customizations/configs done the last decade. Note that those are all headless CLI only except 1 that ran KDE Plasma, so not RPI desktop, that seems to be problematic when in-place upgrades.
