Troubleshooting • Re: Pi 5 Not Displaying

Hello,

I recently got a Pi 5 and I cannot get it to display with either HDMI port.
When connected to power the stat light is green.

-I've checked that the chord functions properly (it works with another, Pi 4)
-I've tried different HDMI ports (same monitor)
-I've tried different monitors
-I've removed the SD card, still won't display.

The Pi was displaying at one point and just stopped.

I'd like to be able to get the HDMI working again or find some other way to get the Pi to display.

Thanks for any help!

"-I've removed the SD card, still won't display."

That should result in this Diagnostic display - Ref: Boot diagnostics - https://www.raspberrypi.com/documentati ... iagnostics

This diagnostic does not seem to depend on any prior configuration. It should always produce an information display.

Failure seems to leave a small set of possibilities -

Faulty or failing TV/monitor/display and/or connecting cables;

Faulty or failing Power Supply and/or connecting cables;

Faulty or failing RPi[5] board.
