So when a purchasing department changes a component for a cheaper one it's China's fault?
When they market it as a fully compatible part then yes.
I'm very much au fait with most of the electronics industry, which is why I find most of your posts to be extraordinary. Intellectual Property rights have been acknowledged in China since 1980.
Now you are just being silly. I've had designs ripped off even in the late 90s with no comeback.
And if you are au fait, why don't you publish your LinkedIn page so we can see what you do.
I don't need to look at Zhongshan City to tie down the problem with the OP's situation.
I think you do. That's where these clone encoders come from. Do you even know what happens there ?
