Beginners • (Pi4) No network devices available?

Hello ,

just got a pi4 2gb and liking the experience sofar<
there are sometimes hiccups in audio playback but nothing dramatic/

however, the raspbian OS is showing in panel "no network devices available" although i am getting intnerernet over Lan and it functions.
it seems however, it does not cycle itself when changing network and there is no way in GUI panel to toggle wired/mode on/OFF.


also, the "turn ON wireless LAN" is shown instead, although i have disabled expressis verbis the WLAN and Bluetooth in config.ext.
