That's not how I understand things to be. My understanding is that If it were illegal in the EU because it hadn't passed FCC it would not be legal to put a CE mark on it. When Raspberry Pi release documentation on CE conformity and compliance for the CM0 I guess we will know.US and EU standards are the same, just for EU you can self-certify in your own lab whereas for FCC you have to use an FCC certified lab. So if it doesn't pass the FCC standards in your own lab it's illegal in EU. Whereas if it did you would send it to the FCC lab to get worldwide compliance.Not approved for the US but I don't see how that follows for the EU.No FCC mark though which suggests the Wifi version doesn't have the appropriate performance/approval for EU and definitely not for US.
