Apologies if I misunderstand the OP's question, but to find files easily (besides having a good hierarchical filing system to start with) I use a program called "recoll". I can't remember if it's in the RPiOS repository or not but I can get it on Linux Mint Xfce (which ultimately derives from Debian, as does RPiOS). Mint Xfce might standardly use Catfish, but having very briefly tried both I ended up preferring recoll. It's a very helpful utility.
I don't use it so much for filename titles as for file contents, but it might work just as well for the former. IDK.
