Troubleshooting • Legacy hdmi video mode: gone for good recently?

Hi,

Been using legacy video mode on original PiZero long ago, then was running headless in a long while: now wanted to attach HDMI screen back, and could not get it work again, even in hdmi_safe=1 mode (see raspinfo log here, only has config_hdmi_boost=7 extra).
Is it not supposed to work anymore in recent 6.12.y kernel/firmware instances?

HDMI works ok with KMS when set as:

Code:

dtoverlay=vc4-kms-v3dmax_framebuffers=2disable_fw_kms_setup=1
Unsure what I am missing in legacy mode (has lower RAM footprint than KMS, and is enough for CLI).
Thanks for any tip.
