I guess I should have specified that I would like it to work as a sort of webcrawler/scraper so I can set it to the task of looking for hard to find parts while I do my job finding the easier parts.

I'd suggest that buying parts ought to be easy, and if some of them are hard to find then the vendor is doing a poor job. Unfortunately, your web crawler is only going to give you some candidates for you to search yourself, so it might not save you much time.
You might prefer to do everything in the crawler, and have it search the easy parts too. Do it once a day then you can read the results at your leisure. Keep track of what it's seen before and it can whittle down the list to new hits only.
