that will only work on legacy OS, not on latest OS as they rely on KMS. Ask them to provide a datasheet.Thanks. Yeah that was a typo.
Here is the product
FanyiTek 4" 4 inch 720P Circle... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FDWLPPVP?re ... b_ap_share
I got ahold of them and they gave me some generic commands to force a display mode. They used AI to find something. I hopefully can try that tonight.
I will also see if the blank command does something as well before trying the solutions they gave.
With amazon I couldn't download their screen shots through my phone, I had to get to a desktop to see it. And now I'm back on mobile so I can't upload, but I am looking at it right now.
They said I should force the display by editing the config.txt
Hdmi_safe=1
Hdmi_force_range=1
If that doesn't work they have
Hdmi_force_hotplug=1
Hdmi_group=2
Hdmi_mode=87
Hdmi_cvt=720 720 60 6 0 0 0
Hdmi_force_range=1
Worth a shot.
O:K, that's an 4in display which is connected to an interface board based on Lontium LT6911 HDMI-to-MIPI DSI bridge chip https://www.lontiumsemi.com/UploadFiles ... _Brief.pdf.
One can only assume that they got the programming of the bridge chip correct.
One test which you can do is forcing a video mode from kernel command line.
