I just purchased a new Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 - 7" 720x1280 with Capacitive Touch, not the original. I wanted to use this with my Raspberry Pi 5 with an MMDVM Digital Voice Modem HAT fitted on my Pi-5, but the display does not display and stays black when booted up using the Pi-Star App flashed to the SD card, although the display works great when I boot up using the Raspberry Pi 64-bit full OS flashed to the SD card. What am I missing, or did I purchase an expensive paper weight, wishing it would display my MMDVM screen while I use this setup to communicate via digital modes on Ham Radio (Amateur Radio), such as DMR, TGIF, DSTAR, FUSION, NXDN, P25, and M-17 modes? Any help making this display work while running Pi-Star, Pi 5, with MMDVM HAT would be greatly appreciated for a newbie to the Raspberry Pi 5 and the new, not original, Official Raspberry Pi 2 - 7" Color 720x1280 with Capacitive Touch Display Monitor.
Thanks,
