Do companies, do some test, to see, if there solution really works, before they sell it to consumers?

Some do and some don't.

I'm fairly certain Kingston does not test their products for low enough current to use with a Raspberry Pi without supplying external power. Kingston's target market is Mac/Windows PCs, so they would be wasting their money testing for any other usage.

I'm confident that Raspberry Pi does check that their SSD's work correctly when used according to their instructions.
