I'm the seller of the Raspberry Pi, base and SSD to this customer. I have mailed the customer, where he also mentiones a severe heating issue on the SSD. Therefore I suspect a burned-out-SSD, and in cooperation with Raspberry Pi, I have requested a logging with over-temperature events.
But have not received them yet, so now I have asked the customer to return the whole setup, so I can test it further and replace the whole setup for a new Raspberry Pi/Duo Base/SSD.
Will post more information here too when I have it.
