Excellent news and glad it's working. Now it is working I don't think we need more details.
Older Nuke files may not work if they were Pico and Pico W only. The single latest Nuke UF2 should work for all in the Pico-range.
Thonny should work with "Pico interpreter" selected but I do recall there have been issues when a nuked or new board was connected and it doesn't know if it is a Pico or Pico W, a Pico 2 or Pico 2W.
It might be worth selecting "Pico interpreter" (ignoring any offers to update the firmware) and seeing if that works as I believe it does some things slightly differently to the default; setting the Pico's real time clock for example.
