https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/pull/7180 which is a backport of 2c1fd53af21b8cb13878b054894d33d3383eb1f3 to 6.12 as it hadn't had a "Fixes:" tag added for that to happen automatically.Think there's very recently (last week?) been an update to the kernel RS-485 driver to make it work properly; might be worth investigating if not already done.I guess you won't get this with the Pi's native UARTs due to the lack of hardware RS485 support. Handling RTS in software is obviously not enough for you.
