Why trying to reinvent the wheel when RaspiOS comes with a 100% functional VNC Server, WayVNC, that works by default with Wayland ?
I know you already replied you are used to tightVNCserver but it seems you just can't make it work... Furthermore switching to X is counter productive with Wayland being the standard now.
