so i am working on a home automation system where i have a server running a program that takes voice inputs and relays it to my raspberry pi what im trying to do is to connect the lights in my room to the pi using relays so the mains supply is connected to the relay and the relay is connected to the light and the pi so when i give an input saying turn on light 1 with my voice it turns it on. I plan on connecting all the lights and fans in my room to the raspberry pi so i can control them individually setting modes and other effects i have been looking around a lot but im not sure what kind of relay i should be using one such that i can connect to the appliance mains supply and raspberry pi could any one please help me out and if there isn't any such relay is there a work around, thanks![:D]( "Very Happy")
