DIsabling autodetection and forcing dtoverlay to IMX219 was a frequent problem solving step suggested online. I tried every 'solution' I could find.
Either method failed to detect the v2.1 camera.
The cameras all work with the Motioneye OS and a global shutter pi camera works with this OS on this pi Zero W.
