I have a P1 5 running the latest OS plus updates. I have just managed to get the Pi to 'talk' to the Win 10 PC with the help of an Ethernet switch. That has had the secondary advantage of giving me wired ethernet speed internet connection since the WiFi connection in this study is always 50% or less. What I had really wanted to do was to get the equivalent of R Pi Connect on a wired connection. I seem to have knocked over Connect one day and it was never brilliant with such poor WiFi so a replacement was needed.
The wired solution uses Tiger VNC which works well with the Wayland system on the PI. The only trouble is that the picture on the PC is showing about 2/3 of the Pi screen. The solution I gather is to go to the Pi's config file and edit D5. Unfortunately, when I get the tool up and running it only shows D2, D4, D6 and D7. The option I want is missing. Presumably there must be a work around that somebody could point me towards.
