So I had a raspberry pi 4 all set up and connected to a crt. I didnt know this at the time but I had raspberry retropie pi buster 4.71 on there and did not know this wasn't being updated or whatever. So I clicked update all installed packages thought it installed. It installed something. Anyways next time I fired up the pi I couldn't access any of the raspberry pi menus at all nothing but could still play games. It would just try to download something and say repository not found. In my ignorance I looked for a fix so I didjt have to use the terminal to access menus. So I did sudo apt full upgrade and after this which took like 15 mins. I could no longer play games on top of not being able to access menus. So at this point I figured ill flash the card again and I had a old copy of my config file with all the settings I had. Reflashed the buster 4.71 image copied rhe old config file into SD card and put it in the pi 4 turned it on and its just a black screen. Idk what im doing wrong. I since tried to flash recall box buster 4.8 and buster 4.7 again all while copying over my old settings. I dont think the settings have changed in any way so idk why its not working. I had it all.set up with enable tv out 1 sd tv mode 0 sd tv aspect 1 all that stuff so idk. I can copy the config file up here if yoi guys want. I just phone posting and not home but please and thank you.
