Troubleshooting • Re: Raspberry Pi 5 unable to boot after a successful bootloader restore

I have read the Boot Problems Sticky (Pi 4 / Pi 5 section) and followed the recommended diagnostics.

My Raspberry Pi 5 (8 GB) shows the following behavior:

Red/white screen appears at boot.

EEPROM recovery completes successfully (green screen shown).

Then the Pi always stalls:

green ACT LED blinks irregularly,

screen turns black,

ACT LED remains solid green.

No OS boots, including the latest Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit.

USB devices (keyboard) are never initialized.

Same behavior with different SD cards, USB drives, OS images, displays, HDMI ports, and with/without NVMe (board removed from case).

Based on my understanding of the Sticky, this seems to point to a board-level issue rather than a software or media problem. However, I may be missing or misinterpreting something.

Could someone (ideally from the Raspberry Pi Foundation) confirm whether there are any additional recovery steps or diagnostics I should try?

Thank you for your help.
