Another option you might consider is the use of 'conventional' SLR lenses via a C to SLR adapter.
The adapters are available for a range of SLR formats, here's a 135mm Pentax lens on a C to PK version.
The availability of longer focal lengths at good quality allows a range of very narrow fields of view to be achieved.
For example :-
This 135 mm gives a FoV of ~ 2.7° wide, while a standard 50 mm lens would give ~7.2° on the HQ camera.
