Networking and servers • Re: Connect to Pi behind firewall without port forwarding

It worked great (remote shell) until I changed the ip address (ie put the pi on another network with a different router and isp). The connect website indicates that it 'sees' it (seen less than one minute) because I restarted rpi-connect, but won't show the connect button. I tried everything. My router wan ip address will change from time to time and I can write a script to off and on rpi-connect, but it is no good if I can't connect. I moved the pi back to its original ip address (isp wan address) and the connect icon reappeared. I was excited at first and willing to pay even, but it seems I have to find another solution. My problem is that I live in the US and the pi will be in France and I won't be able to "pop 'round' " to fix it with a monitor and keyboard.
