why don't you use raspberry imager for downloading/flashing the OS to your media?A quick question: if I download "bookworm" and dd it to the pendrive, and boot from it, will it allow me to "clone" the OS to the SD card (I think that's what bullseye did, it was so long back, I don't remember), and then booting from the SD card (ie. pulling out the USB and then booting) will allow me to install the OS?
uSD card copier app will clone a particular media to another (i.e. USB to uSD), but make sure to tick the 'new UUiD' checkbox.
