Sounds like the camera is faulty.OK - I will try following the instructions from the reference you supplied to see if that is the issue. I have tried a lot of different ideas, but so far the camera has never been detected. I have also contact the camera company and sent them a bug report, but I have not heard back from them in a week so far.
Yes, that is the camera I have. And yes, the camera silver side of the ribbon camera is away from the board as instructed in the camera instruction sheet that was shipped with the camera. On the board side the silver side is pointing towards the two micro-HDMI ports per instructions. However, I have tried all possible connections on the board and the camera, but the board has never been detected.
