Intermittent problems are the most difficult to track...
What OS are you using?
What case? Metal or plastic?
What power supply?
Do you have any other devices plugged into it either via USB or GPIO?
Does it seem to stop working after any specific events or does it seem random?
what does
vcgencmd get_throttled
tell you?
Can you manually bring up wlan0 or does it only reappear with a reboot?
I certainly think that buying another SD and rebuilding on that to see if the issue disappears would be good too.
