Regarding memory, for reference, your premium Android phones these days get 12 GB RAM. Iphones are still at 8 GB, but a bit more efficient with the hardware they have. Phones tend to run a lot of services (for connected hardware, network traffic, etc.). Compared to a Pi, it's going to depend on how you use it (many services, many apps, many tabs?).
