Something else to be considered: @BoardTester, you don't state what type of mouse connection (ie. wired or wireless?) or whether you also have a keyboard connected (if so again wired or wireless?) One "issue" with some wireless mouse or keyboard dongles is that they can be "dual-purpose" ie. support both a mouse and keyboard and therefore four, rather than just two, HID devices. (Whether this can also be the case for bluetooth devices IJDK?). Historically this caused issues, subsequently "cured" with Network install etc. I suspect it may also increase the likelyhood of "false triggers" due to RF interference.
