Tomorrow I will be changing out the SD card in 1 of the Pi's from 64GB to 32GB and will try and use the DAILY.img file along with Raspberry Pi Imager app to restore it, from what I understand this should work as expected ?, I understand there is a filesystem expand function when it boots, is this interactive or automatic?, I don't have a display connected at the moment only access it through SSH. Sorry for all the questions.
I prefer ETCHER for burning images, but Raspberry Pi Imager should work.
Auto-expansion logic is added to the image file by default but can be omitted by using the -n/--noexpand option. No interaction is required.
