Was this a file that you created, or replaced, within the last minute or so before the crash? If so, it likely was never written to the card.

Otherwise, a single file going missing is an unlikely kind of data corruption. Especially if other files in the same directory have survived.

If the file was merely deleted then you may want to look into extundelete. Note that you should not write any new data to the card in the meantime, which ideally means not even booting it or installing the extundelete package. In other words you should attempt recovery using another Linux system, such as a new install on a spare SD card.
