It works for now. I'm starting to wonder if it has to do with my Samsung microSD cards I've done most of the tests with.Ok so what sort of speed did the copy take with usb2? My suggestion would be if its anywhere near 30 megabytes per second (30MB/s) and that's acceptable to you then stick with that for now.
Otherwise its welcome to the world of USB "quirks" configuration. If you want to try that, its a bit messy but fairly straightforward, I can provide you with more info.
I did another test on a SanDisk card and USB3 fully updated which went through. I'll have to try further because now I'm not sure what it is anymore.

But I bought an NVMe SSD so I'll have to test a bit with it. Just got it home, so no tests yet.
A bit funny that it is an M.2 SATA in the picture of the packaging and not NVMe. :)
