I have two RPi5 8 GB units and two active coolers. One RPi5 will not run either active cooler correctly, in fact it runs the fan at 100% all the time. I have determined that an SMT item is missing on the back side by tracing the PWM pin of the fan. I should have 2 black SMT components here but one is missing. Can someone tell me what this component is? it is probably the same as the other black component just left of my red circle.
Trying to get my supplier to replace the board is to no avail, so I may need to fix this myself. Last time I use that particular supplier.
