The Pi needs 5V at a minimum of 3A, and preferably 5A and the power supply should be capable of negotiating that value with the Pi. Most PD supplies will give 5V at 3A. Very few will give 5V at 5A.
Thanks for pointing it out. BTW my charger has 2 connections: USB-C that gives 5V-3A and USB-A 5V-4.5A.

I'm running since quite sometime another Pi5 with PIanoteq and a DAC hat, charging from USB-C without issues (but sometime Undervoltage warning appears), therefore I assumed was good for this as well.

This application apparently consume more, especially during start and stop of containers. I changed to USB-A and now seems more stable, no more Undervoltage logs. I'll keep it monitored.
I have clicked none of the URLs you embedded. What you need is a stable 5V power supply, a charger is or can be something else. I also have a charger, 30 years old, for lead-acid 12V car batteries. Internally a transformer with a rectifier, that's it. So very heavy ripple, outputs about 15V down to almost zero 100Hz (half sine waves positives), but good for a lamp or a waterpump (and original use-case of charging lead-acid batteries).

A charger meant for smartphones need to raise the voltage of LiPo battery from about 3.4V to 4.2V and the management is in the smartphone. So in theory it does not matter that much if voltage is 5V or also dips to 4.6V or so.

An RPi does not have a way to change the 5V, it needs it as is and for feeding USB mainly. Your Pi5 at peak load and NVMe at peak busy might draw more current than 3A offered by various chargers and also make the voltage drop too much. You should measure it, then you know for sure. Or at least present all the specifications of your Pi5 + M.2 Hat (or USB adaptor??) + NVME. Also there are a lot of weak/thin USB cables, your USB connectors might not make 100% contact etc.

Else buy only components / products from RPL, that seems to be their business case instead of making onboard powermanagement more flexibile (higher input voltage than 5V possible) and/or higher integration level.
