meanwhile....

I found that this file is copyright protected:
https://github.com/RPi-Distro/linux-pac ... pyright#L6

It seems there is no uscan needed at all?
All files are copyright, but generally licenced with an open source licence.

The headers of that file say it is GPLv2 - https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/ ... 5-script.h
Admittedly that is due to a cleanup patch that added the GPLv2 licence to all files without any licence declared. That was 8 years ago, so it's possible that the Debian rules are out of date in comparison.
So I should not use the debian rules since they are broken.
How would be the correct way to build debian packes?
Can you provide the build steps?
Regards Sven
