The Screen Configuration Editor is what my son was using. No idea why switching resolutions and/or refresh rates (only to those supported by the monitor) caused the permanent loss of signal to the 27" monitor, UNLESS the 20" one was plugged in. And it's pretty amazing - unplug the 20" HDMI cable, immediately the 27" loses signal permanently. Plug the 20" back in, signal comes back to the 27".start with a fresh uSD and stop messing around with the display settings.
use the Screen configuration editor for changing the resolution. only those supported by your display will be shown.
