I’ve done a lot of bulk scanning with Epson and Brother printers, and honestly, their own apps like Epson ScanSmart or Brother iPrint\&Scan usually work better than third-party stuff like PaperPort. They handle USB and WiFi scanning pretty smoothly and make managing multiple pages easier. Just make sure your printer’s firmware is updated, because that can really improve how well the wireless and direct scanning works. That’s been my experience anyway, using the official apps saves a lot of headaches.
