Good info, I think all of it needs to be considered by the MicroPython or CircuitPython community.
Perhaps it wouldn't be a huge issue for thinkerers who are still in prototyping mode. But if some users are expecting the flash will be secure from modification, especially those who are building gizmos with the expectation of having a fixed firmware, these things (fs dropouts, fs nuked) are _quite_ the banana skin...![:|]( "Neutral")
