I am curious why the TP_RST wasn't in the touchscreen part of the LCD before... was it working partially before?Waveshare has changed the layout of the PCB and they have added a pogo-pin for TP_RST as announced.
There is no revision indicated in the silkscreen printing, so here are some comparison pictures. I would expect it will take some time until the old revision stock is sold and the new one hits the shelves.

waveshare has also updated their wiki, now offering an own bin file for use with mini-dbi-spi.
Will have to see that commands are used and if/how it deviates from the one I've created.
What linux drivers are used for the ST7796 SPI and GT911 I2C controllers? I cant find the 35f dts in the waveshare repo.
Does it work both in X11 and labwc? Trixie too?
