Not possible unless you already have a custom repo configured. There is no discovery mechanism. It'd be a huge security flaw if it did detect and automatically start using a repo that it found on the local network. The remote Pi seems to be running apt upgrade daily. So if I had a way to create a repository that it would discover and use, I could add some commands to be run as part of the rsync cron job. Of course, I wouldn't want that repository to be discovered by any other Pi in the world. Is that something that might be possible? If so, where would I start?
Somebody local needs to plug in a monitor + keyboard to troubleshoot it or send it to you.
