So @Botspot I like this waydroid a lot the android version of Spotify is very nice and allows cross fades between tracks which can't be done on spotify web app. But it's definitely resource intensive since it uses mainly cpu for all animations. So I went back to Chrome browser using your better chromium and decided to do some research on chromium flags specifically to get rid of those stupid animations that run on spotify within chrome. IT would seem these processes are cpu based just like on android app. I've used Ublock origin lite to remove them but that bring more ram usage and risks breaking spotify for free users. So if you don't mind checking out this post. I used google gemini and claude to help me figure it out. Feel free to use my code in pi-apps if you find it useful in some way.
