Check your TV's settings. Does your TV have CEC menu where to select the device? You can also try uplugging other CEC devices on your TV or using the TV's primary HDMI port for the Pi. Also make sure that you're using the same HDMI port on the Pi that is set for HDMI-CEC in Raspberry Pi settings (HDMI0 by default). Also check your cables/adapters as there's certain micro-HDMI to HDMI adapters that kill HDMI-CEC (I have such adapters myself).Hi,
I followed the instructions to setup LineageOS 23.2 ATV on my Raspberry Pi 4 Model B rev 1.2. I want to use it as a media center on my 2016 Samsung TV which is running Tizen 2.4.
I am facing an issue where my Samsung TV remote isn't working on the Pi. I expect it to allow me to navigate through the LineageOS interface, but nothing happens when I press any buttons on the remote. The remote is an IR remote.
I have tried all the suggested troubleshooting steps from unplugging my TV, turning Anynet+ off and on again. Rebooting the Pi, then the TV, using different ports, disabling and enabling HDMI-CEC on the Pi, to no avail.
Nothing seems to have worked.
Any assistance in troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.
