Yeah, I tried that.
I edited the de_wide.yaml in /usr/share/misc/squeekboard/keyboards and I also added the folders squeekboard/keyboards under ~/.local/share/ and placed an edited version of de_wide.yaml there
In both files, I changed the 'o' to a 'v', but still my virtual keyboard shows a 'o'....Any ideas? Also, when I click on "keyboard settings" as shown on the last screenshot, nothing happens...
