In that case, Peter709 needs to add a video configuration to cmdline.txt that sets the hotplug.
So something like

Code:

video=1920x1080@60D
should do it.
The 'D' is the important part that sets the hotplug detection.
Are you saying that PINN has a requirement that makes this needed to boot without a monitor?

For RPiOS there should be no issue in booting without a monitor.
It should boot, run services, and allow ssh connections no problem.

There may be additional configuration needed if you want remote desktop (as without a monitor there won't be a GUI by default),
but this forum issue is reported for RPiOS Lite, so that is not the case.
